Just 2 days after buying Corinne Bailey Rae’s CD and DVD pack, I find this article in The Age online this morning that her husband Jason Rae has been found dead and that there was an arrest and something about drug supplying. Don’t know much about her or her husband. I first heard of her when I was browsing YouTube and found that a few people had covered a song called “Like a Star”. I loved it straight away and found that it was Corinne’s song. I’ve had a few listens to the album, which had been out for a while and finally bought it. Now this has happened. Will be interesting to see what unfolds.
